Marc Francke is full professor Real Estate Valuation at the University of Amsterdam. He is research Fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Center for Real Estate’s Price Dynamics Platform, Weimer School Fellow at the Homer Hoyt Institute, and board member of the European Real Estate Society. Professor Francke holds a PhD degree in econometrics at the VU University Amsterdam. Most of his research involves price dynamics in commercial and residential real estate property markets. He has done extensive research on automated valuation models, methods for property price indices in thin markets, market liquidity in commercial and residential markets, and the impact of credit conditions on house prices. Apart from his university position professor Francke is Head of Real Estate Research at Ortec Finance.
